[ad_1]

“Hey of us, I’m certainly leaving Microsoft,” Staten stated. “I’ll have extra data to share quickly, however for now, I’d identical to to thank all my @Xbox colleagues for all their understanding and help as I embark on a brand new journey.”

Staten switched from Xbox’s world publishing arm to the Halo Infinite improvement group at 343 Industries in August 2020, and by then, the sport had already been delayed to 2021 from its unique November 2020 launch date. He helped get Infinite out the door in December 2021, however the sport had some post-launch troubles, together with delays of its marketing campaign co-op and Forge modes that meant they didn’t launch till November 2022.

In January, Staten left 343 Industries following layoffs on the studio to rejoin Xbox’s publishing division. Now, he’s leaving Microsoft altogether.
